Esther Neufeld graduated with her ARCT Performers in 1976 while studying with Glen Geary. She continued pedagogy studies with Dr. Cecilia McLean and Winifred Scott Wood.

She has held a B.C. Registered Music Teachers Certificate since 1980. Esther is a member of the BCRMTA South Fraser Branch and has served in many capacities including Branch President, Provincial Council Rep,Student Teacher Sponsor, and Senior Festival Committee Member. 

Esther has maintained an active piano studio in Fraser Heights for the past 35 years, teaching beginners to diploma levels, from ages 5 to adult. Private piano lessons are designed to meet the needs and abilities of each individual student.

Pedagogy (student teacher) classes are offered in person or via zoom and video exchange lessons to students worldwide. 

Esther’s students have consistently achieved high marks in exams, including numerous “First Class Honors with Distinction”, as well as Gold Certificates and Scholarships in Festivals, and Regional and National Gold Medals for RCM Pedagogy Certificates.

    Esther’s studio is organized and well equipped with a Seiler Grand Piano, Yamaha Upright, Yamaha Electric Keyboard, Laptop, and an extensive Library.
